Yates was originally pulled from a shelter where he was out of time and going to be euthanized.  Before that, he lived his life in an outdoor kennel filled with moldy straw, with no one who really cared about him.

He is now living with his forever family, and new fur brother.  They wrote and told us that Shemmy has discovered the comfort of lying on his back on a bed.

They also said that they can't imagine life without him.

Congrats to Shemmy and to his family for rescuing a dog that didn't have a prayer.
