Trigger is adjusting very well. He has stopped pacing and is becoming more of a lap dog!!! He seems to love running around the backyard with my other dog Sam. As is true to his breed, he loves to seek out the birds in the backyard and also watch the newer birds come to the feeders. I also came up with an exercise device that I invented and we go running around the subdivision, we get a lot of smiles from the neighbors. Trigger and Sam are doing very well together and surprisingly the cats don't seem to mind him. He is one big love bug. We are totally enjoying Trigger, he is something else. He is learning his new house manners, stopping inside the door to get his paws wiped if they are dirty, staying away from Sam's food bowl, laying down by the table when we have dinner. He is a joy to groom, he loves to get brushed out and combed. As I told Jeff, I had to give him a bath the day after we got him, Trigger and Sam we filthy muddy from wrestling in the mud and rain like little brothers. That was a sight to be seen!!!
He also is great at sleeping in his crate, very little whining if any whining at all. As soon as he hears me coming down the hallway in the morning I can hear his tail wagging. He is certainly a special boy. Please feel free to call or write back. Hope you both have a great Holiday and again thank you both for doing what you do, or I wouldn't have my new buddy to hang out with.
