Patton was dropped in the shelter because his owner didn't want to hunt anymore so he just didn't want to be bothered with the dogs.  They were kenneled/chained outside.  Despite this, Patton is a wonderful sweet boy who just wants reassurance that you are there for him.  He is doing great in a house, though he doesn't like doorways yet. 

This truly is one of the dogs that I feel is something really special.  He really affected me as soon as we picked him up.  He is a wonderful dog and someone is going to be very very lucky to have him in their lives.
