MacBean passed away this week due to cancer.  We will miss Mac and our hearts go out to his adoptive family, who had him too short a time, and also to his foster mom, who spent so much time with Mac nursing him back to health from his heartworm and other ailments.  Mac left with a lot of people who loved him, and he didn't go alone.

A big thank you to all you fosters who so selflessly open your homes and your hearts to these animals in need of some kindness from a human.  Janet, thank you for caring for MacBean.

A big thank you to those of you who risk your hearts by opening up your homes and your lives to adopt a rescue dog.

Mac's family got hit with some big bills and the rescue wants to help them.  If you could find it in your heart to make a donation towards Mac's final care we would be so grateful.  The money will go to Mac's adoptive family.
