MacArthur is a beautiful, sweet dog probably around 2-3 years old.  He was pulled out of a shelter where he was dumped because he owner was too old to hunt anymore and had no more use for the 4 setters he had.  Mac with his kennel mates were covered in their own filth and very weak from being left chained/kennele all the time.  Despite that, these dogs, true to their breed love people and are perfect gentlemen indoors and out.  

Mac likes to be near his people, but he doesn't beg for affection.  He is very alert and playful and had no problem being near two much bigger Golden Retrievers, even when they tried to play with him in their spastic way.  Mac is a wonderful dog and deserves a great forever family to call his own.

He is now on his way to stay with Brian (along with Ike, his kennel-mate) until he finds his forever home.
